Thanksgiving Break

I was lucky enough to be able to fly home from LA and visit family and friends in Seattle for the holiday.

Wednesday I flew into, literally freezing cold, Seattle covered in snow...weird. That night my family and I got to see my mom perform in the choir in Michael McLean's performance of The Forgotten Carols. It was beautiful and made me feel like it was Christmas and not Thanksgiving..the snow obviously helped too. But the whole time I was freezing. I guess I'm no longer used to really cold places..

Thursday I got to sleep in. What an amazing experience it was. Then we headed down to the Grandparents for a delicious turkey dinner, REAL FOOD, unlike the sandwiches and salads I always seem to be eating. We played a fantastic game of Apples to Apples and watched Toy Story 3.

Madison & I stoked to eat.

Bryan found a good sleeping spot after dinner.

Our Family, minus half.

Friday my parents and I got up, not early, and headed to Fred Meyer for the best sock sale ever. I love socks but I love sock that are half price even more. Black Friday is not really my family's thing but the sock sale cannot be missed. Then we headed to the mall. It was insane. That's that. Later that night we went and saw the movie Morning Glory. It was super cute of course, anything with Rachel McAdams is great. I love her.

Saturday I slept in and woke up and just chilled, watched TV. Doing nothing is so nice when you are always doing something. Later I hung out with my homie Becs Guertin. We gallivanted through the ville checking out the thrift stores and of course Target & Red Robin. Like always. Then we came home and just watched movies. Later Al-tron and Megster came over. It was a good little time we had.

Being weird. Take a second to notice alex's foot in the mini wheelchair..
Sunday I once again got to sleep in. Church wasn't till 1, sweet. This whole time I've been here I thought it just felt like I had never left until I went to church...that's when I realized things were different. Everyone welcoming me back and stuff and going to class with my mom and not young womans! So strange, but it was great to visit. We ended today with multiple skype sessions with Lisa & Blake and Matt & Hillary. I guess it was Skype Sunday. Nice.

I'm so thankful for these kiddos.

Tomorrow I should be back and starting my new schedule (which I'm so excited for!) but I have a dentist & orthodontist appointment. ha.
Then I'll be heading back to la la land. Woo.
I'm so thankful for this break/ It was a much needed rest/heal my body time.
Time to go reverse all I have accomplished and dance my life away!
